The journey starts with the discovery. Together, we take the time to help you find where and how you want to live, your budget, your timelines, and all the other pieces that make our process unique. If necessary, we locate the perfect lot of land for you, ensuring it speaks to your needs and will serve you for as long as you’ll need it – whether it’s a forever home or the latest chapter in your ongoing story.
Once the location is locked in, we begin designing, under your direction. Whether you have an architectural designer already or you work with our in-house team, we’ll turn your dreams into blueprints and a solid vision that will guide us forward. From palettes to plates, even our interior designers contribute to the smallest details that will truly personalize your new home, making sure that it is meaningful and significant in ways you never imagined – such as using wood reclaimed from a family farm, or harmoniously blending natural materials that you love into the structure and surroundings.
All alongside this, we assist in developing proper budgets, contracts, and plans to ensure that everything stays within your means, and send the documents to our preferred partners who will work hard to win your project.
After that, it’s time to get to the most exciting part – the building, renovations, and landscaping. As your new home begins to take shape, we know communication is key, so our Project Management team is available in person and through your own online customer portal anytime you want to check in and offer feedback, thoughts, or concerns.
Our process doesn’t stop when the walls are up and the paint is dry, though. We work with the Alberta New Home Warranty Program to provide 1, 2, 5, or 10 years of warranty on your new Laratta home – and in addition, this insurance can include “peace of mind” coverage with numerous customer protection options to make your home building experience worry free.
